1. What this is

Analyze My Island Five is a game. You name five albums, and an AI writes a playful "armchair psychoanalysis" of what they say about you, in the spirit of well-known thinkers. Couples get a compatibility reading too.

It's for entertainment only. It is not therapy, counseling, a diagnosis, or medical, psychological, legal or relationship advice. The thinkers named are not involved, and no person on the "panel" is real. If you're struggling, please talk to a qualified professional. In a crisis in the US, call or text 988.

2. AI-written content

Readings, full sessions and panel answers are written by AI (Anthropic's Claude). AI can get facts wrong, misread an album, or say something that doesn't fit you. Don't rely on it for decisions. If something in a reading is offensive or harmful, tell us at the contact address on the privacy page and we'll look into it.

3. Who can use it

You must be 13 or older. Only enter first names you have the right to use: your own, or someone who's happy to play. Don't enter anything sensitive, such as health details, other people's full names or contact details.

4. Free readings and fair use

Free readings are limited per day. Don't try to get around the limits or the bot check, overload the site, or use it to make content that is illegal, hateful or meant to harass someone. We may block abuse.

5. The full session ($3)

• The full session is a one-time purchase of digital content for one reading. There is no subscription.
• Payments are handled by Stripe as the merchant of record, under Stripe's terms. The price shown includes any sales tax or VAT.
• The session is written as soon as payment goes through and is saved to the reading's link for one year. Download the PDFs if you want to keep it longer.
• EU, EEA, UK and Swiss buyers: you normally have 14 days to cancel a digital purchase. Because the session is delivered right away, you're asked before paying to agree that it starts at once, and that you lose the right to cancel once it's written. Your refund rights below still apply.

6. Refunds

If your full session doesn't arrive, arrives broken, or you're unhappy with it, email the contact address on the privacy page within 30 days of purchase with the reading's link. We'll fix it or refund you in full. Refunds go back to the original payment method.

7. Press codes

Codes we give out unlock one free full session each. They have no cash value, can't be sold, and can be switched off at any time.

8. Sharing and ownership

You may share your readings and prints for personal, non-commercial use: post them, frame them, send them to friends. Anyone with a reading's link can see it, including the names in it. The site's design, code, name and text are ours. Album titles, artist names and cover art belong to their owners and are shown only to identify the music.

9. Your data

How we handle your data is explained in the privacy policy.

10. Disclaimers and limits

The site is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be waived, including those of EU and UK consumers.

11. Changes and law

We may update these terms and will change the date at the top when we do. These terms are governed by the laws of Colorado, USA. If you live in the EU or UK, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws where you live.
